Mr. Taylor - MS/HS Bible
A native of Northern Ohio, Mr. Taylor began his relationship with Hillsboro Christian Academy over two years ago (2023) when he became a grant researcher/writer for the school. After learning about an opening for a part-time Bible teacher, he interviewed and was also hired for that position. He now writes grant proposals and teaches Bible courses to 7th, 8th, 9th grade and an Advanced Writing Course for 11th and 12th graders.
Mr. Taylor became a Christian when he was 6 years old. He grew up attending Euclid Avenue Baptist Church in Lorain, Ohio. He graduated from First Baptist Christian School in Elyria, Ohio and Cedarville College (now Cedarville University).
He worked for three consecutive U.S. congressmen in Ohio’s 12th Congressional District (John Kasich, Patrick Tiberi and Troy Balderson) over nearly thirty years. He retired from federal service and transitioned to the Ohio Department of Education, where he worked on a grant program.
He and his wife, Elaine (along with their dog Brutus), live south of Hillsboro on a 5-acre parcel of land.
