Mrs. Puckett - MS/HS Literature
· I’m originally from Wisconsin but grew up as a missionary kid in Japan.
· In America, I attended Union Grove Christian School; but in Japan, I was homeschooled.
· I was saved at age 7 and baptized the following year on Easter.
· God led me to be a teacher at age 11 through our church in Japan needing someone to help with the children’s English time for 5th and 6th graders. I worked as an assistant with that for 3 years.
· I have a bachelor’s degree in elementary education from Northland International University, and a master’s degree in history education from Liberty University.
· My husband Brandon and I were married in 2017, and we live in Washington Court House.
· I attend Hillsboro Bible Baptist Church.
· I’m a fan of the Green Bay Packers for football, Milwaukee Brewers for baseball, and Wisconsin Badgers for college sports.
· Before coming to HCA, I spent 2 years at a small Christian school in Indiana, 2 years at another Christian school in Ohio, and 2 years as a substitute teacher primarily at local public schools.
· I have been teaching at HCA since 2019. I have taught 3rd grade; 5th-6th grade ELA and history; and various MS/HS ELA subjects.
· My life verse is Isaiah 55:10-11.
